Earth Tech Inc., a business unit of Tyco Engineered Products & Services, and a global provider of consulting, engineering and construction services, has announced several recent appointments.
Kern Jacobson, P.E., has been appointed senior vice president. Jacobson, who has 34 years engineering and construction industry experience, will provide leadership for the company's western district and will be responsible for operations, client service and business development. He will be based in Earth Tech's offices in Long Beach, CA.
In addition, the company has appointed two new senior managers to its Capitol District office in Alexandria, VA.
Ken Vinson has been named vice president, senior environmental section manager of the Alexandria office. Vinson will also serve as program manager for three worldwide environmental consulting contracts for the Air Force Center for Environmental Excellence and will lead the environmental technical practice in Earth Tech's Capitol District.
John Franz, vice president and operations manager, will be responsible for profit and loss responsibilities for the Alexandria office, which employs 120 employs people.
