Uponor North America celebrated the grand opening of its newly constructed Uponor Experience Center located at its regional headquarters in Apple Valley, Minnesota. Boasting 4,500 square feet of hands-on displays, full-scale residential and commercial training areas, and cutting-edge innovation showcases, the new Uponor Experience Center is a flexible education and discovery space designed to advance the technical skills of current and potential customers. In addition, it will help foster innovation within the plumbing and HVAC industry and provide an immersive experience for employees and visitors alike.

The AHR Expo wrapped up the 2023 show in Atlanta with an exigent focus on reshaping the future of the industry – together. The stats indicate the industry’s resurgence: The 2023 AHR Expo hosted 42,794 verified visitor and exhibitor personnel, 1,779 total exhibitors, 425 of which were international, and filled 486,000+ square feet of exhibit space.
It’s been four years since the American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE) last held its convention and expo. The normally biannual event was canceled in the fall of 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2022 ASPE Convention & Expo returned Sept. 16-21 in Indianapolis. The turnout and enthusiasm among attendees and vendors alike proved that the organization — and its members — were more than ready to get back to business.
Franklin Electric welcomed about 30 manufacturers reps to its Fort Wayne, Indiana headquarters Aug. 29-31 for Little Giant Product Champion training. The training included classroom sessions discussing various wastewater solutions offered by Little Giant as well as resources and sales tools, a factory tour, live product demos and more.
The seventh Emerging Water Technology Symposium (EWTS) returned as an in-person event for the first time in four years, bringing together industry, manufacturing, water utility and government leaders from around the world. The event was held May 10-11 at the Westin Riverwalk, San Antonio, and was co-convened by the Alliance for Water Efficiency (AWE), the American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE), the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO) and Plumbing Manufacturers International (PMI). The focus of this year’s event was building safe and resilient plumbing systems.

The 2022 AHR Expo returned last week to Vegas after a forced hiatus in 2021. After two years of uncertainty and a longing to reunite the industry, the event represented an eagerness to return to business drawing 30,678 attendees. Check out some of the coolest products from the show floor.
The NAHB International Builders’ Show (IBS) and the National Kitchen & Bath Association’s Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) was held Jan 21-23 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
In September, Navien invited engineers and reps to learn more about its products and tour its Seotan Factory in South Korea.
Navien took the first step into the non-condensing market by introducing their new Navien Premium Non-condensing (NPN) series tankless water heaters during their tankless innovation event at their North American headquarters in Irvine, CA. There was a live band, outdoor games, lobster, raffles and more to celebrate the launch.
