I love the odd years because they contain ISH Frankfurt. This was my 12th consecutive visit to that enormous hydronic feast. Which is not to say ISH is only about hydronics.
One of the coolest things about growing old is that you get to give advice to people who haven’t asked for it. It’s also safe to talk to young ladies, because they all see you as their grandfather.
My friend, Jenni, was visiting from Scotland and had never been to Central Park, so I took her there for a long walk, a ride on the carousel and some wine at the boathouse. We sat outside.
