Spears’ FlameGuard SofTorque SR CPVC Head Adapter is a unitized one-piece design with external stainless-steel reinforcement. The adapter has no internal metal components and is impervious to microbiological-influenced corrosion. The EPDM gasket requires no thread sealants, eliminates joint stress and allows easy alignment of sprinkler frame or deflector while reducing assembly labor. The adapter is certified lead-free by NSF International for use with potable water, allowing installation in multiuse piping systems and is UL-, FM-approved.
