NIBCO innovates sprinkler head installation with the new BRASTIC CPVC sprinkler head adapter fitting. BRASTIC technology features a large lead chamfer that will not remove PTFE tape or thread sealant. A robust starter thread prevents cross-threading. The over-molded brass insert provides greater resistance to radical stress along the entire length of the sealing threads. BRASTIC adapters are dezincification- and corrosion-resistant and NSF-certified to meet requirements for compliance with NSF/ANSI 61, Annex G. Approved by UL/C, FM, NSF and LPCB for use with BlazeMaster CPVC pressure-rated fire sprinkler systems, BRASTIC adapters come in 3/4” x 1/2” and 1” by 1/2” options.
