The United Nations has adopted March 22, 2001, as this year's World Day for Water. The theme is "Water & Health." Activities are being coordinated by the World Health Organization.
World Water Day is meant to focus worldwide awareness on the pollution of our water, the related costs of clean up, and the millions who die from polluted water.
