John R. Lindahl Sr., retired Chairman Emeritus of State Industries, Inc., was honored recently by the U.S. Congress with a special tribute celebrating his distinguished 53-year career in the water heater industry. Representative Ed Bryant (R-Tenn.) wrote Lindahl’s name and lifetime of achievement into the Congressional record with an address before the House of Representatives. State Industries is headquartered in Ashland, Tenn.

“Well-known for his devotion to his employees, service, and building strong relationships with customers,” Bryan noted, “John R. Lindahl Sr. is proof that the American dream is possible through commitment, loyalty and faith.”
