The Chicago Faucet Co. has received certifications on additional products.

The Chicago Faucet Company, the first solid cast brass faucet manufacturer to receive ANSI/NSF 61 certification from Underwriter Laboratories, Inc., has received certifications on additional products. With more than 4,000 certified products, Chicago Faucet has the largest "no-lead" listing of any manufacturer in the industry. "We have long maintained our commitment to producing no-lead faucets because we believe it is the right thing to do in terms of public safety," says Michele Hudec, director of marketing and general plumbing business manager.

On August 6, 1998, NSF 61, the standard for contaminants in drinking water systems will become federal law as part of the Federal Safe Drinking Water Act.
