The Chicago Faucet Co. has acquired W/C Technology Corp. (WCTC) from Masco Corp. Based in Farmington Hills, MI, WCTC is a development and sales company specializing in pressure tank technology for toilet flushing, with annual sales of around $3 million. Company founder Bruce Martin, inventor of pressure-flush technology, has been retained as a consultant. Chicago Faucet itself was recently purchased by The Geberit Group, which, together with WCTC, developed a pressure tank solution for concealed tanks that has been sold in the U.S. since Sept. 2002.
