Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (UL) is pleased to announce the additions of the 2006 International Plumbing Code, the 2006 Uniform Plumbing Code and the 2006 Uniform Mechanical Code to the Code Correlation Database. This online database is one of the complimentary services that UL is pleased to offer as tool for regulatory authorities.
The "Category Code/Model Code Database" is a powerful search engine that enables regulatory authorities to readily find and obtain links from Code sections to UL Product Categories, as well as UL Guide Information and other information specific to the relevant UL Category Codes.
To use the Code Correlation Database, visit: www.ul.com/regulators/codelink.
To start a search:
[1] Select the Code from the pull-down menu of model codes;
[2] Enter a corresponding code section number and click “Submit”;
[3] View links to corresponding UL Product Category and Listing information.
In addition to the 2006 IPC, UPC and UMC, the database also covers the International Building Code, International Fire Code, International Mechanical Code, International Fuel Gas Code and National Electrical Code®.
