Prier Products has announced thatBob Beilfussis the new director of manufacturing. Beilfuss actually returns to Prier after five years as manufacturing manager for Black and Decker. In addition to quality, Beilfuss is also responsible for plant safety and all manufacturing operations. Prier also welcomesSteve Berry, P.E., as research, development and engineering manager. Berry has more than 20 years of engineering experience in the design and management of plumbing, mechanical and electrical systems. Before joining Prier, Berry was president and managing partner of a local consulting engineering firm. In this new Prier role, Berry’s primary responsibility is to design new and improved products that complement Prier’s current offering.
Hansgrohe-North America recently announced thatAl DeGenovahas joined the company in the newly created position of director of marketing. DeGenova will oversee the company's marketing communications, media, trade-show and display initiatives in the United States, as well as sales promotions, collateral, Internet and training activities. He will report to Hansgrohe president Russ Wheeler. Prior to joining Hansgrohe, DeGenova spent nearly 18 years with Grohe America. Before coming to the kitchen and bath field, DeGenova worked in consumer electronics, serving as marketing promotions manager with Cobra Electronics in Chicago for two and a half years.
EZ Trap, Inc. has appointedLouis “Lou” Larocheas national sales manager for the company, according to Gerry Spanger, president. Laroche’s background includes doing marketing and sales management for a variety of HVAC and Hard Goods Manufacturers including Hart & Cooley, Rachels Industries/Mastercraft, General Humidifiers & Air Cleaners and Anco Flex Duct in the HVAC arena, as well as positions with Black & Decker Power Tools, Hill Supermarket Refrigeration and even some finance and utility experience. EZ Trap, Inc. manufactures and distributes the EZ Trap line of residential and commercial Condensate Traps and Overflow Cut Off Switches in a variety of models and kits.
