Anvil Intl.'s Insulation Saddle System
Anvil Intl. recently introduced the new 260 Insulation Saddle System (260 ISS) for copper and steel pipe systems to dramatically save time and money by eliminating the wood block and shield, as well as costly hanger adjustments. It also spreads the load over a larger surface of the hanger than the old-fashioned 'wood block and shield' systems. This new system is ideal for use with chilled and hot water systems ranging in temperature from 40°F to 200°F. Grundfos has added the UPS26-99 and UPS43-44 units to the UPS15-58 unit to create a three-pump SuperBrute wet rotor circulator lineup that replaces 37 competitive circulators. The SuperBrute's three-speed motor-easily field-set on hi, medium or low-makes it possible to adjust the circulator to fit most any need. The UPS15-58 meets the needs of most hydronic applications, while the UPS26-99 fits applications requiring higher head. The UPS43-44 was developed for uses requiring lower head with higher flow. The pumps include an integrated, removable check valve for minimal friction loss, have excellent starting torque and are fully compatible with glycol mixtures.
