Earth Tech Inc. has been awarded a $124 million, five-year contract with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 2, to provide emergency and rapid response services.

Earth Tech Inc., a business unit of Tyco Engineered Products & Services, and a global provider of consulting, engineering and construction services, has been awarded a $124 million, five-year contract with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 2, to provide emergency and rapid response services.

Earth Tech will provide the EPA with engineering services and design and construction management to remove hazardous substances at Superfund sites in New York and New Jersey. This is the third time Earth Tech has been selected for this contract. The new agreement was expanded to require that Earth Tech maintain the highest level of readiness possible to respond to biological, chemical, radiological and other attacks in the region within a six-hour response time.
