ISH China is scheduled for March 14-17, 2006, at the China International Exhibition Centre in Beijing.

ISH China is the leading international trade fair in China for the heating, sanitary, and air-conditioning sectors. The next show is scheduled for March 14-17, 2006, at the China International Exhibition Centre in Beijing. As part of the promotional build-up, the fair organizers, Messe Frankfurt and CIEC Exhibition Co., hosted a series of mini-events from June 27-July 1, 2005, in second-tier cities to bring the name of ISH to the Chinese hinterland.

Known as 'ISH China Goes Cross Country,' the programme of mini-exhibitions enabled major manufacturers of heating & ventilation equipment to present their products to building and construction professionals, heating companies, designers, architects and real estate developers from outside the Beijing area. The number of visitors was impressive, with 90 buyers attending in Lanzhou (Gansu Province), 130 in Xian (Shaanxi Province) and 110 in Nanjing (Jiangsu Province).

Around 40% of visitors were designers from design institutes, 25% were traders or agents, 15% were end-users, and 6% were real estate developers. The remainder were product manufacturers, media and association representatives.

Participating manufacturers included A. O. Smith China Water Heater Co., De Dietrich Thermique, IMI Indoor Climate Trading (Shanghai) Co., Merloni TermoSanitari (China) Co., Ostberg (Kunshan) Fan Co., Rettig Heating (Tianjin) Co., and Riello SpA Beijing Representative Office.

The China District Heating Association and various other regional organizations, including the Jiangsu Association of Refrigeration and the Nanjing Real Estate Developing & Construction Commission also supported the program, attending the events to assist and answer questions, and to provide background information on the local markets through short seminars.
