Web Exclusive--Bell & Gossett Circulators
September 2, 2003
Bell & Gossett has introduced the newest addition to its wet rotor family of circulators. The SSF-12F/LW is a flange connection, stainless steel wet rotor circulator that features a low-watt motor for reduced energy consumption. Available with a powerful 115/1/60 motor, the energy-efficient SSF-12F/LW consumes only 55 watts of power, resulting in low electricity cost. The durable, stainless steel pump body casting of these circulators makes them ideal for domestic hot water recirculation systems in residential and light commercial plumbing applications. With a maximum working pressure of 150 psi and operating temperature of 230 degrees F, the new SSF-12F/LW exceed most current code requirements. The DuraGlide(R) bearing system in the SSF-12F/LW incorporates several components that work together to maintain consistent start-ups and trouble-free service. Double-Sintered carbon bearings, a ceramic shaft and generous clearances allow the circulator to resist calcium and chloride buildup. Bell & Gossett.
