Emory J. Sweeney Jr., retired Vice President of Sales for Prier Brass, passed away March 17, 2000, at the age of 84. Mr. Sweeney started with Prier in 1935 as a turret lathe operator. After serving his country in World War II, Mr. Sweeney was appointed Sales Manager-Plumbing Div., and eventually, Vice President of Sales. Mr. Sweeney was active in the industry, helping a number of representatives start their businesses.
