Charles J. Lafferty, Sr., 78, died March 28 in Delaware County, PA. Lafferty, a World War II veteran in the Merchant Marines, was the co-owner and former president of both Pennsylvania Machine Works and Texas PMW, known in the industry as Penn Machine.
