Viega MegaPress XL

Viega notes its MegaPress XL is the first and only press-fitting system for 2 1/2" to 4” diameter carbon steel pipe. The company also introduces the Viega MegaPress XL PressBooster, a tool designed for larger-diameters using an existing 300 Series RIDGID press tool. MegaPress XL is suitable for use with Schedule 10 to Schedule 40 carbon steel pipe and makes easy, secure connections in 25 seconds.

The Franklin Electric Inline 1100 SpecPAK pressure-boosting system easily connects to nearly any plumbing configuration to provide an easy-to-size water-pressure-boosting solution for numerous HVAC applications. Contractors simply determine how much water is required to be boosted to the desired constant pressure output and the system comes properly packaged.

Taco’s 006e3 is one of the newest models in Taco Comfort Solutions’ 00e series of high-efficiency ECM-powered circulators. The infinitely-variable wet-rotor circulator is designed specifically to make installation and operation of domestic hot-water recirculation systems easier and more efficient. The ECM motor uses up to 85% less electricity than conventional pumps of the same size, Taco notes.

Bradford White’s AeroTherm Series heat pump water heater is available in 50- and 80-gal. capacities —comparable replacements for 40-, 50- or 80-gal. standard electric water heaters — and provide the same amount of hot water as standard electric 50- or 80-gal. water heaters.  Braford White notes the Energy Star-qualified unit can save $300 per year in estimated annual operating cost.
