Plumbing Manufacturers International (PMI) appointed Belinda Wise to secretary/treasurer of the PMI Board of Directors and Lowell Lampen as a new board member.

The newest member of the Plumbing Manufacturers International Board of Directors, Kevin Campbell is ready to make a meaningful impact as PMI begins its Rethink Water initiative.

Plumbing Manufacturers International (PMI) announced the election of Sal Gattone as president of the 2023 PMI Board of Directors during PMI’s 68th Annual Meeting of the Membership.

Stuhrberg began her career at PMI in December 2013 as association coordinator and quickly earned a promotion to association manager. Since then, she has expanded her responsibilities beyond providing administrative support to PMI committees, managing event details, and fielding inquiries from existing and prospective members.

After a four-year hiatus, the Emerging Water Technology Symposium (EWTS) returns to being an in-person event, held May 10-12 in San Antonio. The biannual event first began in 2008 and was held regularly until the COVID-19 pandemic derailed the meeting in 2020. Last year, organizers opted to host a virtual event due to a spike in coronavirus cases.

Several Plumbing Manufacturers International (PMI) members and PMI’s federal government affairs consultant will address the industry’s most urgent water and regulatory issues at the 2022 Emerging Water Technology Symposium (EWTS). The event will take place from May 11-12, in San Antonio, Texas. Early bird registration runs to March 15.

The bill aims to enhance America's global competitiveness by fixing broken supply chains, boosting scientific research, investing in STEM education programs and more.

PMI advocated for the act's water efficiency, conservation and water reuse funding, as well for significant improvements for water and wastewater systems to be covered by the law.

PMI announced the election of Martin Knieps as president of the 2022 PMI Board of Directors during PMI’s 67^th Annual Meeting of the Membership yesterday. The senior director of operational excellence at Viega, Knieps succeeds Todd Teter, senior vice president and general manager of the Professional Plumbing Group House of Rohl North America, a division of Moen. Teter will remain on the board as immediate past president. The meeting was held during the PMI21 Manufacturing Success Conference in San Diego.
