Design Envelope permanent magnet pumps
Armstrong introduced an expanded range of Design Envelope Permanent Magnet pumps (motors up to 60hp) that are engineered to deliver 20% lower operating costs than variable speed pumps with standard induction motors. Design Envelope Permanent Magnet pumps feature smaller overall dimensions and are easier to install because permanent magnet motor technology delivers a substantial reduction in both size and weight. Design Envelope technology also provides highly accurate flow metering (+/- 5%). This means contractors and engineers can avoid the cost of purchasing and installing flow meters for HVAC systems.
