How long have you been in the PHCP-PVF industry?
LA: 15 years.
What drew you into the industry?
LA: I started working for Saniflo at a young age. I wanted to try something new, something I have never done before. I never imagined this could be an amazing career. The plumbing industry gave me the opportunity to grow professionally and allowed me to be more creative and helped me develop problem-solving skills to get the job done. I started as technical support and currently working as inside technical sales.
What is the most rewarding aspect of working in the industry?
LA: Working and connecting our team with special projects and being able to help provide solutions. Working for a company that provides for and supports the homeless by making donations and providing free units to help build mobile showers, bathrooms and provide laundry facilities – charitable organizations like Showering Love, Hope Vibes, Feeding America, Meals on Wheels, etc. makes me extremely proud. Knowing that we can make a difference by helping the community as a team is one of my favorite parts about working at Sanifo.
What is one thing you wish more people knew/understood about the PHCP-PVF industry?
LA: The relationships you build with others by working in this industry are something that will last a lifetime. This is not just a job, but a career that can open many opportunities. There is a lot to learn from the industry and I am thankful I started working in this field.
What has been the proudest moment in your career so far?
LA: Thanks to my career, I was able to purchase my first home. Hard work pays off.
What is one thing most people don’t know about you?
LA: I like cooking and grilling, and I love gathering with friends and family, but most of all, I love spending quality time with my wife and kids.
