Grundfos’ new CR 255 pump features a hydraulic design that improves everything from impeller and guide vanes to inlet, discharge port, sleeve and diffuser, taking current energy efficiency and performance standards for vertical multi-sage inline pumps to the next level, the company notes. The shaft seal of the CR pumps is developed in-house and is available in various material combinations to suit different liquid, pressure and temperature requirements. The pumps are designed to reduce the risk of cavitation and increase the robustness and lifecycle of the pump, the company notes.
