Oatey Co., a manufacturer in the plumbing industry, announced that Darryl Jones is now serving as manager, commercial sales training, and Karen Fox has been promoted to national showroom sales manager.

Jones joined the QuickDrain USA organization more than five years ago and has served as manager, showroom sales, since Oatey acquired QuickDrain in 2017. As Manager, Commercial Sales Training, Darryl will leverage his passion for training and coaching to educate both internal and external partners on key commercial sales products and initiatives. He will lead and execute training across multiple segments in Oatey’s Wholesale channel and will be critical in supporting key sales and marketing efforts to drive growth.

Fox joined Keeney Manufacturing , which Oatey acquired late last year, nearly 30 years ago as a sales manager, most recently serving as National Manager of Wholesale. As National Showroom Sales Manager, Fox will be the point person for Oatey’s showroom sales process in support of the QuickDrain USA brand. She will build relationships with showrooms, train sales representatives, and grow new and existing products in this space.

“We are pleased to be able to further invest in training and education initiatives through Darryl’s expertise and passion,” commented Patrick Aquino, vice president of sales, wholesale plumbing. “This also creates the perfect opportunity for Karen to leverage her significant experience and expertise to further advance QuickDrain’s position in the market.”

Oatey Co. also announced the promotion of Aquino. Aquino joined Oatey nearly five years ago as northeast regional sales manager and has since gained progressive responsibility as national sales manager and, most recently, director of rough plumbing and commercial sales. With more than 15 years of experience in sales and business development, Aquino will use his deep knowledge of the plumbing industry to lead Oatey’s regional sales managers, commercial sales team and showroom sales team. He reports to Brian DiVincenzo, president of wholesale and commercial.

“During his tenure at Oatey, Patrick has shown an acumen for growing business and fostering meaningful relationships within the wholesale plumbing channel,” commented DiVincenzo. “As Oatey continues on its growth journey, I am confident in Patrick’s ability to continue to provide strong leadership and drive results for our organization.”

Lastly, the company announces Adrien Scherer is now manager, commercial healthcare sales, and John Waters is technical specialist, commercial sales.

Scherer joined Oatey nearly three and a half years ago as technical specialist, commercial sales. In his new role as Manager, Commercial Healthcare Sales, he will apply his deep knowledge of the plumbing industry to grow Oatey’s business within the healthcare vertical. By developing relationships across the healthcare industry, he will help continue to position Oatey as the brand of choice, while increasing opportunities with new customers.

Waters joined Keeney Manufacturing., which Oatey acquired late last year, more than three years ago as regional sales manager. As Technical Specialist, Commercial Sales, he will support Oatey’s commercial sales process by influencing specification work within the Engineer community. Providing best-in-class support to customers in the field, he will be responsible for winning specifications across all Oatey brands and working with engineering firms in his territory.

“The commercial space continues to be an important area of opportunity and growth for Oatey,” commented Aquino. “In their new roles, both Adrien and John are well-positioned to use their significant experience to further drive sales and build relationships for Oatey.”
