Survey: Most employees want to learn on the job by video, in five minutes or less
Only 33% of surveyed employees are “very satisfied” with employer online training programs.
Most employees in the electrical, plumbing, HVAC and industrial tools industries are not "very satisfied" with their organization's online training programs, according to the second edition of the “Voice of the E-Learner” survey, conducted by BlueVolt and research firm Cascade Insights.
It asked 1,327 workers from manufacturers and distributors in the electrical, plumbing, HVAC and industrial tools industries about their perceptions of online learning. BlueVolt launched the first edition of the survey in 2016. This year’s findings showed a 27% drop – from 59% in 2016 to 33% in 2018 – in the number of learners who were “very satisfied” with their organization’s online training programs.
