Dallas-based American Fire Sprinkler Association promoted LaVerne Davis to the position of director of financial and administrative affairs. Davis will report directly to AFSA President Frank Mortl III, CAE.
In the role, Davis will manage all of the association’s financials, financial reporting, accounting processes and administrative services. She also will oversee the administrative department by updating and maintaining office policies, human resources processes and more.
Davis joined AFSA in early 2017 as manager of accounting. Prior to joining AFSA, she served as the chief financial officer for a Dallas nonprofit, and in accounting and financial management for The Coca-Cola Co.’s world headquarters in Atlanta.
