Hilmor’s Orbital Flare features a simple setup, precise positioning, secure hold and an automatic stopping clutch mechanism. An off-center mounted cone spins on an axis to produce flares, while a tube-stop arrow and ball detents allow for precise positioning and placement. Its clothespin-inspired spring-loaded block grips the tube securely and the clutch mechanism stops the flare to eliminate cracking the tube. The flare can tackle soft tubing such as copper, aluminum, brass and steel in a variety of sizes: 3/16”, 1/4”, 5/16”, 3/8”, 1/2”, 5/8” and 3/4”.
