Tyco has received FM approval for its ESFR-17 Dry Tape Early Suppression Fast Response Pendent Sprinkler. The FM approval for the 165° F model is an addition to the existing UL listing for the sprinkler. This sprinkler can be utilized in wet-pipe applications to protect cold storage facilities where the system piping is installed in a heated space above a freezer area. Additionally, it is now offered in two new lengths – 30” and 23”. The shorter lengths provide flexibility for installations where space above a freezer is too shallow for the original 36” sprinkler.
