Speakman Co. is working to convert most of its commercial faucet line to meet the 1.5-gpm low-flow standard. In response to WaterSense development, Speakman lowered flow rates, while still maintaining high quality. The company also converted many of its popular faucets to 2.0 gpm. With the change, Speakman will certify most of its commercial faucets to WaterSense. Along with this change, Speakman’s LF option will switch to 1.5 gpm. The company will still carry some repair parts for 2.2-gpm aerators in the event customers have a demand for 2.2-gpm faucets. Speakman has created a low-flow faucet section on its website that explains more about the low-flow process.
