John Guest Speedfit secure shutoff valves are lead-free and are available in 1/2” and 3/4” sizes. The valves come with a unique patented locking device, which eliminates the possibility of an accidental pipe release. A firm quarter-turn handle on top of the valve prevents any unwanted movement. The valves can be used with copper, CPVC or PEX pipe and are suitable for hot and cold water plumbing/heating and water filtration/softening applications. The valves also can be used with confidence in marine and RV applications. Working pressures and temperatures for the valves are listed at 160 psi at 73° F, 100 psi at 180° and 80 psi at 200°.
