Prier Products has started manufacturing a new family of roof hydrants, including the Flush Mount Roof Hydrant, Post Mount Roof Hydrant and Mild Climate Roof Hydrant. The three new hydrants attach to any roof structure by means of Prier’s new Universal Roof Hydrant Mounting Bracket. The bracket attaches to the structural member of the building with rigid support, instead of to the skin on the building. The bracket requires only a single penetration point, is adjustable to accommodate roof angles and can mount to concrete, wood, steel, I-beams, truss, perlins or other structural members with standard construction materials. All roof hydrants are backflow-protected with ASSE 1052-listed and -labeled backflow preventer.
