ABS says its ABS EffeX is the world’s first line of submersible sewage pumps driven by a premium-efficiency motor. The pumps’ advanced technology provides greater reliability and lower operational costs, while reducing energy consumption and environmental impact. Pumps can pass solids at least three inches wide. The range of available pumps meets the demand of wastewater treatment facilities for higher performance. It also matches anticipated forthcoming legislation in many countries regarding higher motor efficiency for submersible pumping.
