The 2004 AHR Expo drew more than 22,000 registered visitors (not including exhibitor personnel), 1,652 exhibiting companies (including 225 new exhibitors), and 324,590 net square feet of exhibit space. Counting exhibitor personnel, more than 38,000 hvac professionals registered for the show.

Held Jan. 26-28 at the Anaheim Convention Center, the show attracted visitors from more than 100 countries, and 277 international exhibitors from 34 countries.

A special attraction was the presentation of the second annual AHR Expo Innovation Awards to companies in eight hvacr product categories. The competition is jointly sponsored by the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE); the Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute (ARI); and International Exposition Company (IEC), producers and organizers of the AHR Expo.

Other show features included ASHRAE's winter meeting and short course programs, along with free educational sessions offered by AHR Expo®, ASHRAE and eight endorsing associations. These sessions were geared toward engineers, contractors, managers and other hvacr professionals.

In 2005, the AHR Expo moves to Orlando, FL, at the Orange County Convention Center, Feb. 7-9.
