Ogden Manufacturing Co. has introduced two new controllers, ETR-3000 and ETR-9000, as an addition to its ETR family. Both controllers have dual outputs and are single-display controllers designed to have a very high feature-to-dollar ratio. The ETR-3000 and ETR-9000 are CE, UL and CSA approved for global acceptance. The ETR-3000 controller is a NEMA-4X rated 1/32 DIN controller. The ETR-9000, while not NEMA-4X rated, advertises an industry-leading compact design that is typical of most Ogden ETRs. The ETR-9000 and ETR-3000 belong to the "basic" family of ETR temperature controllers. While their functionality is basic, they offer a few advanced features, including: bumpless transfer, which allows the controller to apply a percentage of heater output when the sensor input fails; digital communications, which gives the user the option to change parameters or record process trends from a remote location; and regulated power supply output, an option available in 5, 12 and 20 VDC models designed to drive various sensor transducers or transmitters.Ogden Manufacturing Co.
