The Plumbing Manufacturers Institute (PMI) has elected Todd Talbot as its president for the year 2002. Talbot, president of Alsons Corporation (a Masco company) in Hillsdale, MI, was elected at the PMI Fall Meeting, held November 28-30, 2001, at the Hotel Inter-Continental in Chicago, IL. Talbot, a native of Chico, CA, began his career at Hoyt Heater Company in Reno, NV, in 1982 in various sales and marketing positions before joining Brass Craft Manufacturing (a Masco company) as sales manager in 1988. He joined Alsons as vice president of sales in 1994 and has served as the company's president since 1996.
