Death of Rolf H. Jensen Announced

Rolf H. Jensen, 73, of Rolf Jensen & Associates, died of a stroke on Aug. 13, 2002, in Clearwater, FL. In 1998, Jensen retired from the specialty consulting engineering company he'd founded in 1969. Jensen grew up in Chicago, IL, and served at various times on the Chicago Committee on High Rise Buildings, as well as on the city's advisory committee on building code amendments. He also played a central role on the Society of Fire Protection Engineers, where he served a term as president. Jensen also authored the book Fire Protection for the Design Professional and received numerous awards from notable fire protection industry associations, including SFPE and the National Fire Protection Association.
