A look at new Gas Appliance Manufacturers Association leaders.

Michael P. Morgan, executive vice president of the White-Rodgers Division at Emerson Electric Company, was elected chairman of the board of the Gas Appliance Manufacturers Association (GAMA). Other officers elected for the 1998-1999 association year are: First Vice Chairman Daniel W. Holmes Jr., chairman and CEO, Morrison Products, Inc.; Second Vice Chairman Robert E. Schjerven, president and CEO, Lennox International Inc.; and Treasurer John A. Hart, president and CEO, Empire Comfort Systems, Inc.

Four Directors-at-Large were elected: A. Robert Carnevale, president and CEO, Bradford White Corporation; W. Michael Clevy, president and CEO, International Comfort Products Corporation; William R. Hennig, president, A.O. Smith Water Products Company; and Thomas May, president, Weil-McLain, A United Dominion Company.

John Lindahl Jr., senior vice president of sales and marketing at State Industries, Inc., was elected advisory director.
