BuildNet, Inc., a provider of management software and e-commerce services to homebuilders, dealers and suppliers in the residential construction industry, and Advantage Business Computer Systems, Inc., a supplier of business management and ERP software for building product distributors, have announced a partnership to integrate BuildNet's e-commerce platform with Advantage Business Computer Systems.
BuildNet also announced that is has withdrawn its S-1 registration statement filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The withdrawal, due in part to market conditions, will give BuildNet more latitude to engage in business activities that would have conflicted with restrictions in place while the company was in registration.
