The American Society of Plumbing Engineers released a brochure about plumbing engineering as a career choice.

The American Society of Plumbing Engineers recently released a brochure designed to introduce plumbing engineering as an exciting and challenging career choice. According to Paul McGuire, ASPE’s Communications Manager, the brochure is one of several ASPE career-enhancing tools and will be sent to colleges, universities and high schools in order to help students with their career choices.

Information inside the brochure defines plumbing engineering and the plumbing engineer’s role as protector of the public’s health and safety and an integral member of the design and construction team. It also outlines the educational and professional requirements needed to become a plumbing engineer and provides an overview of ASPE and its research and education efforts.
