IAPMO will hold its annual Technical Committee meeting in May, and part of its consensus process includes an open call for the UPC and UMC code change proposals.



The International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO) will hold its annual Technical Committee meeting in Denver, CO, May 5 - 9, 2008, to review proposed changes for the 2009 Uniform Plumbing and Uniform Mechanical Codes. As part of IAPMO’s consensus process, the development of the UPC and UMC includes an open call for code change proposals through Feb. 1, 2008.

The Denver Technical Committee meetings are open to the public and anyone in the audience may voice their position to the committee in this open forum.

Throughout the week of May 5-9, committees will review and act on all comments, including the Assembly Comments passed at IAPMO’s Las Vegas Assembly Consideration Session held Sept. 25, 2007, during IAPMO’s Annual Education and Business Conference in Las Vegas, NV.
