Elkhart Brass introduces its new URFA series pressure-reducing valves (URFA-25-2.5, 20-2.5 and 20S-2.5), which are listed as floor control valves in automatic sprinkler systems and as standpipe valves for CLASS I and CLASS III systems. The valves, which are pressure rated up to 400 psi and flow rated up to 500 gpm, reduce pressure under both flow and no-flow conditions and come preset at the factory but are field-adjustable. Key features include a built-in automatic check valve and a patent-pending design that allows low-torque manual open and close and pressure adjustment. Valve size and weight permit installation in significantly tight areas and small hose cabinets.
