The Viking Corp. announces the availability of a new cULus listed 4.9 K factor residential pendent sprinkler, the VK456. This latest addition to Viking’s Freedom® line offers flow and pressure characteristics at coverage areas up to 20 x 20 ft. and flow characteristics at 14 x 14 ft and 18 x 18 ft room sizes. At 2-3/4 inches in diameter, the VK456 flat cover plate is the smallest available in the industry. The sprinkler is available in four standard finishes and more than 800 customer colors. Larger threads on the inside of the sprinkler cup provide for an easy “push on, thread off” cover plate.
