Flowserve Corp., a global provider of fluid motion and control products and services, has launched the Flowserve Gestra UNA 38 steam trap, designed to drain high flow rates of high-pressure condensate from steam systems. Energy-efficient and heat-conserving, Flowserve Gestra UNA steam traps maximize the retention of process steam, direct the flow and timing of condensate and incondensable gas release, and preserve wear on downstream equipment such as valves. The UNA 38 is a new model in the Flowserve Gestra lineup of high-pressure steam traps that features ball-float and needle-closing mechanisms and offers a large condensate discharge capacity.
