R.W. Beckett Corp. has announced the formation of Beckett Additives LLC, a wholly owned, limited liability company.

R.W. Beckett Corp., an Elyria, OH, manufacturer of residential and commercial oil burners and related oil heating products, has announced the formation of Beckett Additives LLC, a wholly owned, limited liability company.

The new company will market UltraGuard™, a heating fuel additive that stabilizes stored fuel, helps protect it from repolymerization and sludge, controls growth of bacteria and reduces tank rust. With regular use of UltraGuard, full-service oil companies greatly reduce fuel-related service calls.

Beckett Additives LLC will work closely with Fuel Management Systems (Jefferson, VA) and International Lubrication and Fuel Consultants (Rio Rancho, NM). A distribution agreement was signed by Edward Kitchen (president of FMS), Lowell Horwedel (chairman of ILFC) and Kevin Beckett (president of Beckett Additives). The formula for UltraGuard was developed by George Kitchen, late brother of Edward Kitchen. Officers of the new company are: Kevin A. Beckett, president, and Dean Gray, vice president and general manager, both also with R.W. Beckett Corp. Daniel Reisner will cover the Southern New England territory for Beckett Additives during its start-up phase.
