Web Exclusive-Watts Reduced Pressure Zone Backflow Assemblies
February 22, 2005
Watts Regulator Co. has introduced its new GoldenEagle™ Series 919 reduced pressure zone backflow assemblies. These assemblies have been developed to provide both trouble-free operation and ease of service. The Series 919 may be used on those cross-connections that have been identified as health hazard applications. The 919's compact construction has been designed to provide streamlined flow and low pressure loss, and its chloramines-resistant elastomers provide a long life in varied water conditions. The 919 features separate access covers for the check valves and relief valve for ease of maintenance. Its top entry covers allow each check to be serviced independently and provide full access to internal check valve components. The 919 also features an EZ twist relief valve cover, utilizing a quarter-turn locking joint that captures the spring load to facilitate ease of repair.Watts Regulator Co.
