On June 20, 2003, Kamco Products Ltd,, known throughout the industry for its polyethylene-coated copper tubing, celebrated the official grand opening of its Oakville, Ontario, location.

The event included guided plant tours; a pipe cutting ceremony with Jeff Knoll, the acting mayor of Oakville; and concluded with an outstanding presentation by Ron Ellis, Stanley Cup winner with the '67 Toronto Maple Leafs and member of Team Canada '72. To top off the event, over $1000 was donated to the Oakville Fareshare Food Bank, as a result of donations from guests and Kamco Products Ltd.

The relocation of the company's production facility from Langley, British Columbia, to Oakville, Ontario, allows Kamco to cut its average delivery time in half, enabling it to deliver its coated copper tubing to most wholesalers in Canada and the U.S. within 2-3 business days.
