JWC Environmental and Franklin-Miller, Inc. jointly announced the settlement of a lawsuit for patent infringement brought by JWCE.

JWC Environmental (JWCE) of Costa Mesa, CA, a leading manufacturer of equipment for wastewater treatment, and Franklin-Miller, Inc. of Livingston, NJ, jointly announced the settlement of a lawsuit for patent infringement brought by JWCE. The suit accused certain versions of two Franklin-Miller products, the TASKMASTER 8500 and TASKMASTER TITAN, of infringing on a JWCE patent dealing with side rail technology. Franklin-Miller, Inc. has agreed to modify the side rails of its systems to a configuration that JWCE agrees does not infringe the patent, and in return, JWCE has dropped the lawsuit.
