Tyco Fire & Building Products has introduced the Series LFII 6.9 K-factor (TY4234), NFPA 13 optimized residential sprinklers.

Tyco Fire & Building Products, a business unit of Tyco Engineered Products & Services, has introduced the Series LFII 6.9 K-factor (TY4234), NFPA 13 optimized residential sprinklers. These large orifice sprinklers are designed for residential applications where higher water-flow demands are required by NFPA 13, and can meet those NFPA requirements with less water and less pressure on smaller pipe sizes. Available as Pendent, Recessed Pendent and Domed Concealed models, the new LFII 6.9 K-Factor sprinklers are decorative, fast response, frangible bulb sprinklers that are designed for use in residential occupancies, such as apartments, dormitories and hotels (greater than four stories). These new large orifice LFII residential sprinklers are designed to compliment the original 4.2 K-Factor and 4.9 K-Factor smaller orifice LFII models. The 6.9 K-Factor sprinklers should be used where individual sprinkler spacing would benefit from the larger orifice size. The LFII 6.9 K-factor NFPA 13 optimized residential sprinklers are available with temperature ratings of 155°F/68°C or 175°F/79°C and are approved for use with Tyco Fire & Building Products line of BlazeMaster® CPVC Systems. They are also UL and C-UL listed, and some models are FM approved.Tyco Fire & Building Products.
