Dr. Archibald Tewarson, a senior research specialist at commercial and industrial property insurer FM Global, has received the Interflam 2004 Award for his significant contributions to fire science and the engineering field. Dr. Tewarson was chosen by the Interflam Organizing Committee, which is comprised of fire industry representatives from the National Institute of Standards and Technology, the National Fire Protection Association, the Society of Fire Protection Engineers, the U.K.'s Building Research Establishment, and Sweden's Sveriges Provnings-och Forskningsinstitut.
