Weil-McLain has announced its intent to close its Michigan City, IN, assembly operations and will be moving to a new assembly facility near the Virginia/North Carolina border. The new facility is expected to be operational in early 2005. Company headquarters, as well as foundry and machining operations, will remain in Michigan City.
