The International Code Council hired Gabe Maser as the organization’s vice president of federal relations, where he will manage and direct ICC’s federal policy and legislative priorities agenda. He’ll also maintain and enhance ICC’s advocacy presence in Washington, D.C.

Maser recently served as a regional director for market expansion and policy at Renovate America. He also has worked as the director of federal-state relations for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts; a legislative assistant for a member of Congress; and an associate at Baker Botts. He has a bachelor’s degree in biology from McGill University and a juris doctorate from Georgetown University Law Center. Maser is a licensed lawyer in the District of Columbia and Massachusetts.

“We’re excited to welcome Gabe to the ICC family. His background and experience will help us strengthen our relationships with key decision-makers in the executive and legislative branches and provide a strong voice in Washington, D.C., for our members,” said ICC Senior Vice President of Government Relations Sara Yerkes.
